The cafeteria will be transformed into a North Pole Shopping Mall, where Santa’s elves have loads of amazing and fun items for your kiddos to purchase for those special people in their lives.

How does it work?

Santa’s Workshop gives kids a chance to experience the gift of giving by getting the people closest to them Christmas gifts. It also gives them a lesson in budgeting and money. Our shopping helpers ensure kids stay on budget and make sure they buy for others before themselves. Items range from 50 cents to $15 and are organized by theme: pets, Christmas, siblings, Mom, Dad, etc. Please talk to your children about what items they may want to buy and help them fill out their shopping lists.

We request that you send in a reusable shopping bag in with your child to help transport items home. Presents will be wrapped and tagged, though — no need to peek!

For children in grades K-5, please send money or check made out to “St. Timothy Home and School Association” in an envelope with their last name on it. This will help the elves who assist them during their shopping period!

Middle-schoolers are invited to come shop during their AAP time.

We offer an option to use any unspent funds as a donation. (This is usually less than $1, as elves encourage the kids to spend their money on their families.) Please note that section on the shopping list emailed by the school or on their envelope.

Interested in helping little shoppers?

It’s shopping time! We need elves to help for this year’s Santa Workshop. Our younger students need help picking out items for loved ones and also counting money. So the more the better to help them all have the best experience! We also need help bagging items at checkout so students can surprise everyone with their amazing selections.
